1 ⅓ cups berries, any kind (frozen or fresh) (~9 oz)
3 dates (dried and pitted) (~¾ oz)
5 walnuts (~⅔ oz)
¼ cups ground almonds / almond flour (~¾ oz)
⅓ cups Greek yogurt, plain (low-fat) (~3 ½ oz)
optional: ¼ tsp vanilla extract
optional: ½ tsp cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
To make the topping, combine the chopped dates, walnuts, flour, vanilla, and cinnamon (optional) in a food processor or blender and process on high until a crumbly paste forms.
Place the berries in a baking dish and toss.
Generously sprinkle the crumb topping over the berries using the entire mixture.
Cover the top with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, remove the aluminum foil and continue to bake another 10-15 minutes until the fruit is hot and bubbly and the top begins to brown and turn crispy.
Remove from oven, allow to cool and serve with yogurt.
